There are many different ways to acquire funding for a cause/program.  First steps -  identify which funding sources bests aligns with the organization's needs and capabilities; how should resources be allocated to fund the cause/program?  Should efforts be put towards securing funding through multiple sources?  What does the team need to carry out a successful fundraising campaign?  Can a social enterprise model be applied to sustain the cause/program?  How to quickly identify grant sources that align to the cause/program.

Creating and sustaining partnerships requires an appreciation and understanding of the group process.  Patience to come together to address a goal and promote shared decision-making.  Not an easy task to keep all stakeholders focused and actively collaborating to carry out the dream.  But it is very achievable to effectively carry out a shared cause that entails managing positive relationships with community members, community-based organizations, and funding partners.
